Founder & CEO
Adele is a healthy ageing specialist with an MSc in Gerontology and Ageing from King’s College. Prior to starting GrandNanny in 2020, Adele spent 9 years working in Advertising. It was during this time that she realised the need for better wraparound childcare to support working parents. She is also a Trustee of Which? charity Research Institute for Disabled Consumers where she is helping to increase age-inclusivity in product and service design.
Growing up, Adele’s Mum ran a nursery from her home where older women from the local community were employed as ‘Aunties’ – a formative experience that has helped to inspire GrandNanny’s development.
Head of Operations
Liz is a digital project specialist, having worked with global companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Legal & General and Pension Insurance Corporation. She has an MA in Digital Asset Management from King’s College and has launched multiple B2C and B2B applications and websites.

Recruitment & Sales Lead
Previously GM and part of the Sales/Development team for one of UK’s largest entertainment chains, Nicola is a true customer champion who loves providing excellent service.
Prior to joining the GrandNanny team, Nicola employed an older neighbour in her community to take care of her son – so she believes in the GrandNanny model and can’t wait for more people to benefit from childcare partnerships with local neighbours.

Prior to joining GrandNanny, Hayley worked in Digital Marketing production. She is a passionate advocate for better representation and inclusivity of a more diverse range of people.

Konrad is a medical doctor training to be a GP in central London with a special interest in Geriatrics.
Every day, Konrad sees how a support network and a sense of purpose are crucial to maintaining health and is struck by how many older people lack meaningful social interaction.
Following the birth of his first daughter – with all grandparents living abroad – he realised how complex childcare can be.
